Remuneration for services provided by the law firm is determined individually with each client prior to the commencement of services. The amount of remuneration is influenced in particular by the complexity of the case and the necessary workload. Depending on the nature of the case and the arrangements with the client, the remuneration may take one of the following forms:<\/p>

  1. Lump sum remuneration,<\/li>
  2. Lump sum remuneration on a monthly basis,<\/li>
  3. Remuneration with a success fee,<\/li>
  4. Hourly remuneration.<\/li><\/ol>

    What does the legal fee depend on?<\/h2>

    -the expected duration of the case,<\/p>

    -the scope of the assignment,<\/p>

    -date of completion of the entire task or individual activities.<\/p>

    The simplest and most secure form of settlement for the client, who thus obtains a guarantee of the invariability of the budget during the course of his case. This type of remuneration is most often applied when it is possible to predict the necessary amount of work and time. In particular, these are legal opinions, analysis of contracts and representation in the course of certain court proceedings.<\/div><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

    \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/i><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/i><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tLump sum remuneration on a monthly basis<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t

    A billing method used after the conclusion of a contract with the client for fixed-term legal services. As part of the fixed monthly remuneration, the client receives at his disposal the number of hours of work of the law firm specified in the contract. Payment of additional remuneration is necessary only after the agreed limit is exceeded.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

    This is a specific variation of one-time lump sum remuneration, with the client initially obligated to pay a lower fee. However, in the case of obtaining the result desired by the client (e.g. winning in court proceedings), the client is obliged to supplement the remuneration in the percentage specified in the contract.<\/p>

    For example, the basic remuneration was set at PLN 2,000 net + 10% on the amount won in court proceedings. The client in the proceedings claims the amount of PLN 50,000, and this is the amount he obtained through a final judgment. The total remuneration in this case is PLN 2,000 + 10% of PLN 50,000 = PLN 7,000 net.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

    Billing model applicable to particularly complex cases, when it is not possible to determine in advance the amount of work and time. The total remuneration is the number of hours multiplied by the hourly rate agreed with the client.
